Changeling is an enchanting blend of dark sour ales aged previously used wine barrels, and inoculated with lactobacillus and Brettanomyces yeast. It pours a deep ruby with touches of gold at the rim. Leading with plum and toasty malt, the flavor turns gently but unmistakably tart. Notes of earthy, funky Brett and a touch of lingering caramel sing on the long finish, a delicate balance.
